Active Zinc Oxide
DOSAGE SAVING:
1 gr of Active Zinc Oxide Detomaso® has a surface area of approximately 60m2. However, this ratio in zinc oxide is 7-8m2 / gr. In rubber compounds it provides a reduction of the dosage level up to 50% compared to zinc oxide.
PARTICLE STRUCTURE:
Particle size is 10 times less compared to zinc oxide.
It mixes easily and homogeneously and disperses completely.
It also provides brighter and smoother surface results for the final product.
TRANSPARENCY:
It makes its color deeper and brighter.
It gives excellent results in transparent products.
LIGHTNESS:
As the bulk density is 30% lower than zinc oxide, it enables to produce lighter products at the same density.
As for the rubber products sold by volume and number, it is possible to produce more products using the same weight of dough.
PHYSICAL PROPERTIES:
According to the compared test results active zinc oxide plates gives 30% better physical results.
EASE OF USE:
As can be seen from the rheometer curves, it shows that it climbs later than zinc oxide in the curves of the vulcanization but quickly reaches full curing level after rising.
Delays roasting; provides process security and flexibility.
Provides continuity in product quality; reduces the use of uneconomical retarders.
It enables more economical accelerators to be used as MBT and MBTS.
HEAVY METAL RATIO:
Its heavy metal ratio is 10 times less than regular zinc oxide.
